We understand that you cannot always bring your pet along when you travel. Rest assured that at Bradford Hills, your pet is receiving first class care and lodging. Our team is highly qualified and trained. The Pet Hotel is proud to be one of the few kennels in Pennsylvania to be an American Boarding Kennels Association Accredited – Blue Label Status. When you see the ABKA Accreditation Ribbon in our office, you can be assured that you are entrusting your beloved pet to the care of a dedicated leader in the boarding Kennel industry. All of our policies and procedures, including vaccination requirements, are constantly reviewed by Bradford Hill's Medical Director in order to continuously provide the best care available.

We also have a fully staffed veterinary practice for your pets' medical needs and a professional Pet Salon to pamper and care for your pets while they are staying with us.

Our Hotel Manager, Sandy Eck, is known by her guests as Aunt Sandy and has over fifteen years of experience working with dogs and cats. Our Hotel Staff receive continuous training on pet care and many have received their certification from the ABKA.

Dogs

Each guest is cared for in one of our spacious all-indoor rooms or suites. Some of our suites feature televisions, webcams, and special beds for our guests. Year round climate control ensures comfort. Elevated beds keep pets dry and comfortable and superior sanitation systems far exceed current health requirements while virtually eliminating odor. Each evening, our guests receive a bedtime treat at no extra charge. All in all...it's the finest care possible!

Cats

Cats are cared for in an exceptional cattery designed just for them. Their condos are completely removed from the canine guest areas. Our feline guests can spend their time watching our aquarium or just napping in the quiet environment. Year round climate control ensures comfort. Our feline suites are double rooms with plenty of space to stretch. House mates are most comfortable in our suites. Cats are supervised by our professional staff with plenty of personal attention.

Our Hotel is Open Seven Days a Week:

8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, September through April
7:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, May through August
8:00 am – 1:00 pm, Saturday all year
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Sunday all year

Bradford Hills Pet Hotel is conveniently located on Perry Highway between Wexford and Cranberry.

Holiday Reservations and Cancellation Policy

In order to make a holiday reservation, a deposit of $25.00 per dog and $15.00 per cat must be received by the Hotel. This deposit will be applied toward the charges for the holiday reservation. The multi-pet family discount does not apply to required deposit. Gift certificates and coupons are not considered means of payment for deposit.

The holidays requiring a deposit for a reservation are:

4th of July
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Years

If the Hotel receives a cancellation notice at least 72 hours prior to the first day of the holiday reservation, a refund will be issued in the form of the original payment. Failure to give the Hotel the required cancellation notice will result in the forfeiture of the reservation deposit. This forfeited deposit may not be applied toward another reservation.

Vaccinations

All of our guests must have current vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper, and I-Trac/Bordetella at least seven days before their first visit. We will be glad to help you determine which vaccinations your pet requires. Pets should be using a flea preventive such as Advantage or Frontline. Any pet with fleas will be given a bath by our groomer for an additional charge.

Veterinarian Recommended Diets

Proper nutrition enhances your pet's health and happiness both at home and as our guest. That's why we exclusively feed our guests Eukanuba™ formulas. Prepared with essential ingredients, highly palatable and easy for cats and dogs to digest, these vet-recommended diets by Eukanuba ® simply make boarding better. Of course, Bradford Hills happily complies with special dietary needs and serves off-menu rations at an additional charge. Please let us know your requirements when making reservations.

Puppy Kindergarten

The Bradford Hills Pet Hotel puppy kindergarten will teach you how to become a great dog trainer and leader to your new puppy. Our class will focus on training methods using positive motivation, a highly effective way to train a dog, using high value rewards along with verbal, hand, and leash commands. Summer Pool Time

Treat your dog to a summer dip in our bone-shaped pool. Our staff will gladly play with your pet with toys supplied by our Pet Boutique. All playtime is directly supervised by our staff and is a safe, secure way to give your pet some special exercise. Pool time is reserved in fifteen minute increments.

Day Care

Day Care is the perfect solution for those times when you are busy running errands, having your house painted, or any occasion when your pet needs to be away from home for the day. It is also an opportunity for your pet to become accustomed to a different environment. Our Day Care is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Your pets will enjoy exercise three times per day, a treat, and tender loving care. Please call us for rates and to make a reservation.

Birthday Parties

Celebrate your pet's birthday, the day your pet joined the family, or even just a day that holds special meaning to you. The party is in full swing as we cater to your loved one with a special treat, a frozen delight, and a keepsake photograph of your pet looking their cutest in their birthday hat and, of course, their birthday suit! Your pet will be the center of attention on their special day. Parties may be reserved during your pet’s overnight stay or during day care.

Massage

Your dogs get sore muscles too! We know that some dogs run all day long, may be recovering from difficult surgeries, have life-long diseases or plaguing ailments, or just going through the aging process. Massage and bodywork is beneficial for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Although the specific results of each bodywork-session will differ for each guest, many experience these results:

Increased circulation of blood and lymph
Pain relief through endorphin release
Improved flexibility
Enhanced muscle tone and efficiency
Stress reduction and emotional calming
Increased trust and animal/human bonding

Regular periodic massage appointments can help improve your dog's health, decrease stress, supplement a medicinal regimen for quicker recovery, and generally facilitate an increased quality of life into their senior years that could prolong their lives.

The massage is performed by a massage therapist certified by the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.

Pooches love Frosty Paws© Frozen Treats for Dogs. They are delicious and refreshing. You'll love them because they are a convenient and healthy way to share the joy of ice cream with your pet. Frosty Paws are fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals that dogs need. They do not have any added sugar, artificial flavors or colors.
